The biggest mistake that most Impetigo sufferers make is doing NOTHING.  They leave the skin infection exactly the way it is and hope things will get better soon.  The problem with this is that doing nothing can lead to a possible further infection, complication, scars from appearing, and take a much longer time to recover from.
